Harmoniously constructed young stallion of high sporting elegance. The movement is unmistakably influenced by the sire Hickstead White: With a lot of mechanics and a hind leg that is always powerfully active, the trot and canter in particular are of enormous quality. Haaland's jumping sequence combines the modernity of the Hickstead White with the reflexes of the dam's sire, Stakkato, and the power and ability of the third generation shining Contender. In the 14-day test at Neustadt/Dosse, the young stallion's record showed an outstanding result with a final score of 9. 18 for jumping. Haaland's tournament debut in 2022 could not have been more glamorous. With top scores up to 8. 8, five victories under the saddle of Sebastian Elias are on the books!

Sire Hickstead White is the only licensed son of Olympic champion Hickstead on German soil. Under Jörne Sprehe he was able to place in world ranking jumping competitions. So far, he has produced 24 licensed sons from three crops, and offspring from his debut crop have already made strong impressions in performance tests. Hickstead White's dam Queentina was also victorious up to 1. 60m jumping.

Haaland's mother Sophia is also from a good family. Her sire, Stakkato, was able to revolutionize Hanoverian show jumping breeding with his speed. He is the sire of 246 advanced (S) level successful show jumpers and regularly appears as the dam's sire of quality show jumpers. His daughter Sophia also proved to be a first-class broodmare and already produced the licensed Cohinoor (PB NL), who was successful in 1. 45m jumping competitions, in a mating to Cornet Obolensky. The Neustadt premium stallion Lanzardo (by L'Unico) is Sophia's third licensed son. Haaland's granddam Candy is a daughter of the Holstein breeding hero Contender. She produced two international show jumpers in Lakeland (by Lordanos) and the licensed, 1. 45m-successful Cornwall (by Cornet Obolensky). With Count Grannus and Hessenstein, highly proven jumping genetics also shine in the following generations. Haaland's pedigree has already produced world class show jumpers in various breeding areas, as the 1. 60m successful Tyra (Yann Candele), Happydam (Jamie Wingrove) and Call me Number One (Linn Zakariasson and Richie Moloney) impressively prove.
