Foal maker par excellence
Galaxy is the prototype of a modern dressage horse. With a lot of noblesse and elegance he knows how to move like a feather. Despite all his light-footedness, his gait potential in trot and canter is based on a very stable hind leg that is able to carry weight. The walk is always in time, and shines with space grip and diligence, Galaxy's willingness to perform is exemplary. After successfully passing his 50-day stallion exam in Schlieckau in 2019, he shone in 2020 with gala performances under the saddle of Simone Pearce. After a first-class first foal crop with the Münster price top "Ganz großes Kino" (dam's sire Samarant / hammer price E 30,000), Galaxy was highlighted in Vechta as 1c Main Premium Champion.
Sire Grand Galaxy Win descends from the combination of the Grand Prix winning stallions Apache (E. Scholtens) and Jazz (K. Beckers). He was a champion stallion in Denmark, placed in the World Championship Final in Ermelo as a five-year-old and is currently winning up to Intermédiaire II. The dam's sire, Sir Sinclair, is considered an excellent supplier of Grand Prix horses. Considering his relatively low number of studs, he can be attested an outstanding hereditary performance. In the USA, he was recently named USEF Leading Sire, i.e. best dressage sire, six times in a row. With the super sire Donnerhall and the Westphalian Roemer, performance blood also appears in Galaxy's pedigree in the following generations.
Galaxy comes from the very best lineage, his dam, who was bred to Spielberg, already produced a dressage horse that was successful in the international junior tour with Dionisos. His granddam produced Galandro (by Bon Bravour), a stallion licensed by the KWPN and winner of the St. Georg, and Fernando (by Westpoint), a medallist at the European Junior Dressage Championships in 2020. She is also the half-sister of the famous Exquis Nadine, who successfully represented the Dutch colours in the dressage ring at championships under Hans-Peter Minderhoud. The third dam Charites is a full sister of the Grand Prix winner Windsor. The same branch of the Otrichta line also produced the licensed Dorado, who won World Championship bronze in the five-year-old dressage class in 2013.
